Anaemia is a condition in which you don’t have enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to the body’s tissues. Having anaemia may make you feel tired and weak.
There are many forms of anaemia, each with its own cause. Anaemia can be temporary or long-term, and it can range from mild to severe.
Usually, the first test used to diagnose anaemia is a complete blood count (CBC). The CBC measures many parts of your blood. The test checks your haemoglobin and hematocrit levels. So if you are experiencing any of these symptoms, do the test immediately.
