When you come in for an ECG, you'll be comfortably positioned in a relaxed environment. The procedure involves placing small, adhesive electrodes on specific areas of your chest, arms, and legs. These electrodes are connected to an ECG machine that records your heart's electrical activity.
During the test, you'll be asked to lie still while the machine creates a graphical representation (electrocardiogram) of your heart's electrical impulses. The procedure is quick, painless, and typically takes only a few minutes to complete.
Our highly skilled technicians will ensure accurate placement of electrodes and monitor the recording process to obtain clear and precise results.
Once the ECG is completed, our healthcare team will review the results promptly. In most cases, you'll receive immediate feedback, and our staff will guide you on when to expect the finalized report.
